How to Plant Cucumber in Water

For my convenience, I planted cucumber in water. I know this is not perfect but its my first time and I am still learning.

Cucumber is known for its many nutritional benefits and hydrating properties. A cup of cucumber contains 16 calories with its peel (15 without), 4 percent of your daily potassium, 3 percent of your daily fiber and 4 percent of your daily vitamin C. It also has small amount of vitamin K, magnesium, potassium, manganese and vitamin A.

Cucumber is also loaded with 45 calories and are great for a flat stomach. This is because cucumber contains as much as 96 percent water content, which does not give you a bloating effect and helps your body to cool down. Oats take time to digest in the body and hence, tend to burn calories.

Consuming cucumber regularly can help lower uric acid levels in your body by helping your kidney to flush out the compounds out of your blood. It also help dissolve small kidney stones and gets rid of toxins in your body.

Cucumber also has an anti-inflammatory effect that helps in reducing puffiness. The high water content helps in hydrating the skin and the cool temperature decrease the flow of blood to the space around your eyes. They soothe the skin around your eyes and alleviate swelling.

A regular intake of cucumber can also decrease bad cholesterol and blood sugar levels as well.

Cucumber water helps to detoxify the body as it contains antioxidants that fights free radicals and flush out toxins from the body.

Having lots of cucumber is sure to make you feel "full" and bloated and as a result, interrupt your sleep. Plus, there is another reason why you should only eat cucumber in a limited quantity. This is because you are taking in more water and are bound to fill up the bladder and urinate more during your sleep.
